Honoring Jack Morehead

Welcome to our new 2023-24 Club President, Zhuming Smith! She leads the Rotary Club of Lake Forest - Lake Bluff, a service and social organization with over 50 members. Members are united in creating lasting change locally and globally. Since 1959, the club and its local Foundation have donated more than $1 million to causes in our community and the world. “Service Above Self”. This is the motto our club membership continues to live by since 1959. Our membership of friends, neighbors, community leaders and problem-solvers, see a world were they take-action and make a lasting change – across the globe, in our local communities and in themselves. The Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Rotary Club Foundation, our charitable committee, has donated more than $1 million to global and local communities causes. One of our main projects is “Operation Warm”, where we have donated more than 7,000 winter coats to children in our local communities. We also support food pantries and pack food to send over-seas.
 
We are people of action and problem solvers. We live by our motto, “Service Above Self”. Most importantly, we like to have fun.
