Economic Breakfasts

This well-attended breakfast event is both a fundraiser and an educational opportunity for our community. The club hosts speakers such as Charles Evans, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. The current state of the Economy is discussed along with federal reserve policy on interest rates, employment, and inflation and economic growth outlooks.

After a pause during the heart of the pandemic, our big event and fundraiser is back! This 20th Economic Update on March 2nd featured Charles Evans, President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. Attendees heard his comments on the outlook for the economy, inflation, employment, and the future of monetary policy in a question-and-answer format. Opening and closing remarks were delivered by John Barth, President of the Rotary Club of Lake Forest-Lake Bluff, and Larry Kuhl, the Event Chair. Carl Marcyan, a senior partner of Schiller DuCanto & Fleck, LLP, was the moderator.
