Pete Siebert, Lake Forest Fire Department Chief
Impact on Community Protection since 9/11

Pete Siebert joined the Fire Department on May 1st, 1996. He began as a Firefighter/Paramedic and held that position for 10 years. He was then promoted to Lieutenant/Paramedic in February of 2007. During this time, Pete also began working part-time in the Fire Prevention Bureau as a Fire Inspector/Public Education Officer for five years. On June 10th, 2010, Pete was promoted to Battalion Chief. In November of 2015, he was appointed Interim Deputy Chief of Administration and received the permanent appointment of Deputy Chief on May 1st of 2016. With the retirement of former Chief Jeffrey Howell, Pete was appointed Fire Chief, by City Council, in 2016.
