Meeting the Group Study Exchange participants from India
On April 24 we met the five members of Rotary International’s Group Study Exchange from District 3230 in India. We welcomed Team Leader Satyan (Public Relations) and Team Members Kalai (Event Planner), Ash (Attorney), Karthi (Journalist), and Geetha (Biomedical Research). Each team member told us about his/her background and experiences on their trip.
They were each scheduled to meet with individuals in our community who match their vocational interests. A luncheon for the team (and our Club volunteers/drivers) will be held at Happie Datt's home (thank you so much, Happie!). Following that we'll see that they get to the Elawa Farm reptile museum, a stroll on the Lake Forest Beach, and on to their group meeting place to be with their sector families.
